In the House of Friendship of the Assembly of the Peoples of Kazakhstan in the West Kazakhstan region, a seminar was held on the topic: "Mediation is the basis of civil society", with the participation of representatives of ANC ZKR structural divisions, (ethno-cultural associations), school principals in Uralsk, heads of educational work, Professional and non-professional mediators. The purpose of this event was to prevent conflict situations, resolve disputes by concluding a mediatory agreement, i.e. pre-trial settlement of disputes by peaceful means. On the agenda, the following issues were discussed: "The role of the institution of mediation in ensuring public harmony" is information on the work of the cabinet of mediation "Public contracts". Role games were played, where mediative situations emerged in everyday life.

"We know that this topic is not new to anyone, especially for the Kazakh people, from ancient times the Kazakhs used mediation in various disputes, and very big problems were solved. We know that in America, in Europe, many disputes are resolved by mediative means, "said Ihsanova Zh.S. - deputy head of KSU "Public contracts" of the apparatus of mayor of the West Kazakhstan region. In his speech on school mediation, the head of the Department of Social Initiatives and Public Accord of the KSU "Public contracts" of the apparatus of the mayor of ZK Rakhishev A.G. noted that: "For several years mediation has been introduced in secondary schools in Kazakhstan. The problem of the adolescent period among schoolchildren comes to the fore in the list of concerns for adults, since the current conflicts among adolescents are very different from those that were before. Now conflicts among teenagers began to acquire a social, gender and international character. "

Participants of the seminar took an active part in role-playing games, expressed their opinions and made proposals for mediation in all secondary schools.
