On December 8, 2016 the National Academic Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan held a ceremony of awarding the winners of the Republican Cultural and Educational Project of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan "Myn Bala", dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The event was attended by the Deputy Chairman of the Assembly of Peoples of Kazakhstan - Yeraly Tugzhanov, deputies of the Majilis of the Kazakhstan Parliament, members of the APK, participants of "Myn Bala" project, representatives of state bodies, national companies, clerisy, youth and the media.

"The Assembly of People of Kazakhstan "Myn Bala project objectives" is to create optimal conditions for learning the state language by representatives of ethno-cultural associations. In the year of the 25th anniversary of  independence the project has get a tremendous development, as those who wish to take part in it are increasing every year. Generally speaking, for 2 years more than 1.5 million children were involved in the project. The project's objective is not only in the participation, but also in the development of the state language. And for 2 years it has grown into a powerful cultural project from a small project, and 109 thousand people have mastered the national language by the best optimal techniques that the APK developed. Perhaps this suggests that the desire to learn the national language, all its beauties, all its diversity has become especially popular and attractive. Today there will be contests and essay, video competitions. In the first stage, in the regions the guys have mastered the language, one of the nominees came today, in a solemn ceremony, we encourage the best - 50 children came to receive their awards from the APK", - director of MPI "Kogamdyk kelіsіm" under the President of Kazakhstan Natalya Kalashnikova said.

The winners awarding was held in three categories: "Tauelsizdik - tіregіm", "Asyl soz", "Memlekettik til - Tauelsіzdіktіn tіregі" (Appendix 1).
