In the House of Friendship of Uralsk on the initiative of the Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan of the West Kazakhstan region and the Department for Religious Affairs of the West Kazakhstan region, events dedicated to the day of spiritual harmony on the theme "Spiritual consent - the path to the unity of the people" took place. Representatives of state bodies, religious associations, ethnocultural centers, non-governmental organizations and the media attended the event.

The purpose of the event is to call representatives of state bodies, religious and ethno-cultural associations to joint efforts in the implementation of the program article of the Head of State on the modernization of public consciousness "Ryhani zhangiry", The Nation's Plan "100 concrete steps, the implementation of 5 institutional reforms", in particular, the fourth direction "Identity and Unity" aimed at strengthening interfaith and interethnic harmony.

The akim of the city of Uralsk Murat Mukayev welcomed the gathered. Akim of the city noted that 75 religious associations of nine religions of three world religions are registered in the West Kazakhstan region: Christianity, Islam and Buddhism.  And if we want to achieve our main goal of building a prosperous multinational state, we must follow the principles of humanism and interethnic tolerance.

"We know that the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, initiated by Kazakhstan, has proved the necessity and importance of establishing interreligious dialogue and harmony," said Igor Spiridonov, the chairman of the APK WKR youth wing.

Within the framework of the Day of Spiritual Harmony, a football tournament among interfaith teams was held, an exhibition of books, religious songs was organized, and the event was hanged with the song "Atameken". Already after the completion of the event participants - members of various confessions, ethno-cultural associations launched into the sky the symbols of peace and harmony - white pigeons and a lot of balls.
