On the 30-th and 31-st of March, 2017, at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Abaya Str. 33a, Blue Hall), with the support of the Assembly of the Peoples of Kazakhstan, was held a two-day methodological training seminar on the topic "Technology for the preparation of recommendations on the results of scientific research in the field of public consent and national unity".

The seminar-training was organized to improve the methodological, scientific and methodological and personnel support of research activities in the sphere of public harmony and social unity and interethnic relations in the light of the Message of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N. Nazarbayev "Strategy" Kazakhstan-2050": the new political course of the state, Plan of the Nation "100 concrete steps - Modern state for all", Address of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N. Nazarbayev "Third modernization of Kazakhstan: global competitiveness", practical recommendations on the basis of scientific research.

Representatives of the Secretariat of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, the Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the professor of the Higher School of Education and the Higher School of State Policy of the Nazarbayev University, representatives of NGOs spoke at the same time. The staff of the Science Committee of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan answered questions of scientists.

Scientists and experts studying questions of interethnic and inter-confessional relations of the Eurasian National University named after L.N. Gumilev, Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi, Western-Kazakhstan State University named after M. Utemisov, Taraz State Pedagogical Institute, Kazakh Agrotechnical University named after S.Seifulin, Institute of Philosophy, Political Science and Religious Studies of the Komsomol of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Institute of Literature and Art named after M.Auezov KH MES RK. Representatives of the Committee of Religion of the Ministry of Religion and Civil Society and the Research Institute "Public opinion" took an active part in the seminar-training.

In the course of the methodical seminar-training, the following issues were considered: the tasks of scientific research and practical results for public policy; major problems in closed ethnic groups; lighting technology research results in the media; An interactive training-discussion of scientists of the sphere of social harmony and national unity was held. A. Burkhanov, PhD in Central Asian Studies, Assistant Professor of the Higher School of Public Policy of Nazarbayev University, reviewed the issues of studying national identity in Central Asia in modern studies. B. Goodman, Assistant Professor of the Higher School of Education of Nazarbayev University spoke about the features of language and identity based on ethnic identity of ethnic groups in Kazakhstan.

During the seminar, presentations were shown to discuss and summarize the recommendations on the results of the projects.
