On December 8, the 16th session of the city Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan was held in the akimat of Astana city with the agenda "Modernization of public consciousness - the basis for the formation of Kazakhstani patriotism".

Representatives of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, deputies of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan and maslikhat of the city of Astana, members of the Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan, representatives of state bodies and ethno-cultural associations and others took part in the event.

The important role of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan in the implementation of programmatic article, "Looking to the future: modernization of public consciousness", said the deputy chairman of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, Head of the Secretariat of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan Mynbay D.K.

The main values of Kazakhstan are peace and interethnic harmony. The Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan is given the most important role in the formation of the Kazakhstan model of unity and tolerance.

Next year, which is marked by the 20th anniversary of the capital of Kazakhstan, Astana, it is planned to hold large-scale events. The Deputy Chairman of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan urged the representatives of the capital's ethno-cultural associations to participate in the festivities dedicated to the anniversary of the city. Mynbay D.K. thanked those present for their active participation in the grandiose events during the International Specialized Exhibition EXPO-2017.

Deputy akim of the city of Astana Amanshaev E.A. pointed out that one of the important areas of work of the Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan in the city of Astana is the implementation of the program article "Looking into the future: the modernization of public consciousness". In his speech, Amanshaev E.A. He said: "The purpose of this article - together make a step towards the future, to change public consciousness to become one nation strong and responsible people. The first condition - the preservation of its national code, national culture, referring to the national code we mean and People's Assembly of Kazakhstan's activity".

Following the results of the XVI session, the Moscow Assembly adopted a resolution in which the invaluable importance of the Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan in the city of Astana as a powerful pillar of the development of the capital is noted.

For today the Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan of the city of Astana, which has been working for 22 years, unites 24 ethno-cultural associations and supports their activities.
