December 24, 2017 in the capital school-gymnasium number 3 held a concert dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Tatar-Bashkir ethnolinguistic school "Tugan tel" of the city of Astana.

The event was attended by representatives of the Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Congress of Tatars and Bashkirs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, metropolitan ethno-cultural associations, graduates of the Sunday school, students and their parents.

The honored guests congratulated the pupils and teachers of the school on the 20th anniversary, wishing to further teach and love their mother tongue, honor and respect the elders, keep in memory and pass on to subsequent generations the traditions and customs of their people; Parents should teach their children to love their native language and folk culture, always be an example for them.

The children's choir of the Tatar-Bashkir Sunday school opened the festive program, then the founder of the school, the teacher of the Tatar language Zuhra Sayapova read a monologue in the Tatar language. The clockwork song "Apipa" performed by the teacher on choral singing and scenic culture of Damir Utekeev, left nobody indifferent.

Following their performance for the guests of the event, a video was shown about the students of the school and about the way Sunday classes are held.

On the eve of the upcoming New Year, Father Frost, named from the Tatars "Kysh Babai", distributed gifts to all guests of the holiday for the correct answers to quiz questions prepared by the teachers of the school in three languages - Kazakh, Tatar and Russian.

A bright moment at the event was an exhibition of folk-applied creativity, at which man-made works of both schoolchildren and elements of the national life and culture of the Tatar people were presented: national men's and women's hats, household utensils and samovar, hand-embroidered towels and tablecloths, lacy napkins. And also souvenir products made by students and teachers of the school by hand to the jubilee of the school.

The most memorable number of the program was the joint performance of the song "Tugan tel" in the native Tatar language of the pupils of the school with the ensemble "Duslik" of the public association "Tatar-Bashkir Cultural Center "Tan". From the very first notes all guests rose from their seats and stood listening to the performance, followed by a storm of applause.

At the end of the event, the management and teachers of the Tatar-Bashkir Sunday School "Tugan tel" expressed their gratitude to the leadership of the school-gymnasium №3 Shevernayeva E.V. for the provided room and study rooms in which the Sunday school classes take place. To the Chairman of the Cultural Center "TAN" Valiev R.G. and philanthropist Monashov R.S. for sponsorship of the event and provided New Year's sweet gifts for school students.
