August 15, 2017 Saryarkinsky regional branch of the party "Nur Otan" of the city of Astana conducted an interactive platform for discussing the program article of NA. Nazarbayev "A glance at the future: modernization of public consciousness" with the participation of the capital's ethno-cultural associations.

The event was attended by members of the party "Nur Otan", representatives of state bodies, ethno-cultural associations of the city of Astana, the media.

During the meeting, the deputy of the city maslikhat of Astana, the curator of the expert group of the party "Nur Otan" Zhusupova ZG. Spoke about the aspects of the transition of the Kazakh language to the Latin alphabet. The chairman of the Kyrgyz ethnocultural center "Kyrgyz-Astana" made an appeal to the youth and expressed an opinion on the modernization of public consciousness. "Today, when life is very dynamic, under modern conditions of globalization it is very important to preserve our national historical roots and adapt to the requirements of today's time," Ismailov said.

Pulatov Sh.A., chairman of the Uzbek ethno-cultural center of Astana, spoke about preserving the national identity and the way to the evolutionary development of Kazakhstan. He stressed the need to understand the essence and awareness of the identity of every Kazakhstani as one of the main instruments of the country's unity.

Participants of the dialogue focused on the main priorities and aspects mentioned in the article of the Head of the state, at the same time, it was noted the special importance of preserving the national unity as a unifying and strengthening principle based on the traditions and patriotism of the Kazakh society.

Speaking about common tasks, the Head of the Department of the Agency for Civil Service and Anti-Corruption Affairs in Astana Rahmatullin AR, in his speech stressed that ethno-cultural associations should be active mediators in strengthening unity and interethnic harmony in our country. During the event, a video about countering corruption was presented with the participation of representatives of the capital's ethno-cultural associations.
