President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev pays special attention to investment policy, since investments are the driving force of the state, showing the qualitative development of any country attracting foreign investors.

In order to improve the investment climate in the region on August 25 in the city of Petropavlovsk on the basis of the elite park-hotel "Green Park" the III meeting of the Regional Council on attracting investors was held. Such an event has already become traditional for North-Kazakhstanis and active investors. Every year the region is visited by representatives of different countries, determining for themselves the priority areas for the development of the innovation and economic sphere.

So, today more than 200 people from 7 countries took part in the Investor Forum. The program impressed with its richness and eccentricity, and the design and natural merits of the North-Kazakhstan region became a unique component of the event.

The forum of investors began with the demonstration of the exhibition of products and products of enterprises of the North-Kazakhstan region, prepared by representatives of the districts and the city. The exhibition included products of light industry, food products, breadboard models of heat and energy equipment, environmentally friendly mineral complex fertilizers and much more.

Then the main part of the forum - the meeting of the Regional Council on attracting investors and improving the investment climate in the North-Kazakhstan region on the theme "Implementing Investment Policy at the Central and Regional Levels" was held, within the framework of which akim of the region Kumar Aksakalov, representatives of foreign states. Deputy Regional Governor Dauren Zhandarbek told about the investment climate of the region, noting the importance of investment cooperation at the present stage of Kazakhstan's development.

A special role is given to the panel session with the participation of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, as having close cooperation with representatives of ethnocultural associations and border regions of the Russian Federation, the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan has the opportunity to assist in establishing economic relations between states, to become a reliable guide in negotiations with representatives both sides.

Representatives of executive authorities, current and potential investors, analysts, employees of consulting companies, financial institutions, representatives of border regions of the Russian Federation, chairmen of ethno-cultural associations of the regional assembly of the people of Kazakhstan, and republican and local mass media attended the panel session.

The meeting is aimed at discussing topical issues of attracting potential investors, as well as interaction of the business environment with representatives of the Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan, the public sector of the North-Kazakhstan region.

The role of the regional assembly of the people of Kazakhstan in attracting strategic foreign investors was told by the head of the regional ANC secretariat Nail Salimov.

For several years, the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan has been consistently working to establish, preserve and strengthen cooperative good-neighborly relations with the border regions of the Russian Federation. So, the organized panel session has become an interactive platform for entrepreneurs and potential investors, contributing to a detailed study of each other's proposals and opportunities, as well as an additional impetus for implementing investment projects in promising industries.
