2017 is symbolic for us, most recently in the Palace of Peace and Accord, President Nursultan Nazarbayev met all ethnic groups and confessions of our country at the XXV anniversary session of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan! On this day in all cities and villages of our country representatives of all nations and nationalities will come together to once again demonstrate their unity, their friendship, their desire to see their common home - the Republic of Kazakhstan - prosperous, independent and free! The Independence Hall of Petropavlovsk hosted the festival "Units of Harmony", dedicated to the Day of Unity of the People of Kazakhstan. Ethno - aul has developed in the square, in the national dwellings - yurts different cultures of our country have presented their traditional utensils, dishes and national costumes. Not without fun songs and games. The folklore ensemble "Balkhadisha" opened the festival with the performance of all favorite Kazakh national songs. Colorful Armenian, Chechen-Ingush dances, sonorous Tatar songs and Kazakh “cuies” delighted spectators today.

Mayor of the region Kumar Aksakalov also took part in the festival. The head of the region visited our national yurts, got acquainted with ethno-cultural centers and thanked for hospitality. The chairmen of ethno-cultural associations treated Kumar Irgibayevich with their national dishes, congratulated them on the holiday and wished for peace and good.

The holiday continued with traditional games and all familiar songs. The main square of the city is filled with fun, unceasing laughter and joy.

The holiday of unity is always a fresh wind; it is always a hope for our bright and beautiful future in our beautiful country. So let our friendship grows stronger. And let under our single “shanyrak”, the circle of friends becomes stronger and more united. Once again congratulate you with the holiday, dear North-Kazakhstan’s people!
