Preservation of national identity, competitiveness, pragmatism should become organic features of the entire people of Kazakhstan and each of us individually, "he said.

In order to further strengthen the civil identity and ensure the unity and harmony of the region, there are 68 public consent councils in which more than 700 members are involved, 60 meetings of public consent councils were held, at which topical issues of the socio-political and socio-economic life of the region were examined. It is a positive fact that in its activities the Council for Public Accord actively interacts with the Alaska al-Aqsa of the regional assembly and the councils of veterans and elders of ethno-cultural associations.

Today, special attention is also paid to one of the priorities of the Assembly's activities - the development and popularization of the institution of mediation in the region. A lot of work in this direction was carried out by the Mediation Center "Kokamdyk kelіsim". A number of training seminars "Mediation - a universal institution of public harmony and strengthening of civil identity" for public (non-professional) mediators of cities, regions and heads of non-governmental organizations and institutions "was held. Presentation of mediation centers was held in Kachirsky and Pavlodar regions.

In the region, work is underway to provide charitable assistance in the framework of the nationwide project of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan "Caravan of Mercy". The total amount collected in 2016 amounted to more than 5 million tenge, this year - about 3 million tenge.

Days of the Unity of the people of Kazakhstan, Victory Day, Nauryz, Constitution Day, Defender of the Fatherland Day, Symbols Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan were attended by more than 300,000 people; More than 200 actions, exhibitions, thematic and theatrical festive concerts were organized.

Actively, with the wide participation of ethno-cultural associations of all levels, a set of activities took place within the framework of the 25 STAR DAYS Plan "Eli Dala Eli - 25 bases of Independence".

Strengthening of unity and social harmony in the region, preservation of the national cultural heritage is promoted by the Summer Festival of Ethnic Cultures "We Live in a Single Family", which is traditionally solemnly opened by the Kazakh national holiday "Kymysmyryndy". Activization of the youth wing of the Assembly was facilitated by the Summer Ethno-camp for the youth, the festival "The Art of Living Together", the regional forum "Zhastar.Pavlodar.kz". Signed events of the youth wing of the Assembly are the Festival-contest of patriotic songs in the state language and the International Youth Forum "BIRLIK.EDINSTVO.KZ".

Also in his speech, Bulat Zhumabekovich said that 2016 was also marked by jubilee events in the life of the assembly of the people of Kazakhstan in the Pavlodar region. The public of Pavlodar Priirtyshye celebrated the jubilees of 3 ethno-cultural associations: the 25th anniversary of the public association "NҰR-ANA әlemi", the 20th anniversary of the Slavic Cultural Center, the 15th anniversary of the "Union of Cossacks of the Steppe Region" Irtysh Line.
