Yesterday the oldest member of the APK, the chairman of the OO "Regional Friendship Society" Kazakhstan-Ukraine ", the veteran of the Great Patriotic War, Girsh Leonid Yuzefovich turned 93 years old. APK Deputy Chairman Abilfas Hamedov presented him with a congratulatory address from the Deputy Chairman of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan – Head of the Secretariat of the APK of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Darkhan Mynbay.

Leonid Yuzefovich Girsh served 43 years in the Armed Forces. Awarded 5 orders and 35 medals, including state awards of Poland, Czechoslovakia, Romania, Ukraine, Mongolia.

He lives in Kazakhstan since 1959. The author of the books "Close to the heart", "Alone with Memory", "Cool Herbs", "Through the Flame of War."
