July 2, 2017 at 17.00 in Etnoaul charity event "Plov-party" was held.

The event was attended by public figures, members of the ANC, representatives of ethno-cultural associations and the media.

The action is timed to the Day of the capital and was held in accordance with the program of presentation of the Kazakhstan model of public accord and nationwide unity of N. Nazarbayev within the framework of the international exhibition EXPO-2017.

The basic ideology: Astana is a symbol of achievements of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The capital's day has historical and cultural significance for the entire people of Kazakhstan. Celebrating the day of Astana with ethnocultural associations emphasizes the unity and unity of representatives of all ethnic groups of our country.

During the event the following events were held:

- a concert of ethno-cultural associations of the city of Astana;

- Plova festival "Plov-party", tasting of various kinds of pilaf (600 kg), flat cakes and baursaks, the 18th century Kazan is presented with filled baursaks;

- a charity event within the framework of the "Mercy Caravan / Kayırımdy El" charitable campaign, where 40 carpets were donated to low-income families.

At the end of the concert, the participants of the action, who cooked the most delicious pilaf, were awarded prizes.
