On October 14, within the framework of the program "Ryhani zhangiry" in the "Blue Bay" area, a subbotnik was held to clean up the coast of the Caspian Sea.

Ecological subbotnik "Autumn cleansing" was conducted on the initiative of the NPY "Eco Mangistau". This action was supported by akimats of Tupkaragan district and Mangistau region.

The main goal is to unite efforts to form a daily ecological culture, to attract public attention to environmental problems and improve the ecological situation.

In ecological subbotnik the most active participants were the collectives of KGU "Kogamdyk kelіsim", the Service of regional communications, the regional prosecutor's office, the students of the Mangistau College of Tourism, the company "ADVER" and the indifferent inhabitants.

Participants of the subbotnik were taken to the place of the action by buses and provided with all necessary equipment. Together, the coast area was cleared of plastic, glass and other debris. In total, over 200 garbage bags were collected.
