2017, the 15th Centabarya in the House of Friendship hosted the United Republican Day, dedicated to the introduction of a single standard for the alphabet of the state language on the Latin chart.

The event was moderated by the Secretariat of the Assembly of the Peoples of Kazakhstan in the Atyrau region, G. M. Shakirova.

Chairpersons and members of the Public Harmony Council, members of the scientific expert group, leaders and members of ethno-cultural associations, chairmen and members of the Council of Mothers at the Assembly of the Peoples of Kazakhstan, employees of the "Kogamdik kelesim" Foundation, the ANC youth wing, members of the ANC chairs, teachers and students of universities, representatives of the media.

The purpose of the event: discussion of the issue "Gradual transition of the Kazakh language to the Latin alphabet", stated in the program article of President N.Nazarbayev and aimed at the modernization of public consciousness.

Presentations were made by:

- Professor of Atyrau Oil and Gas University, Doctor of Philosophy, member of the ANC scientific-expert group K.Utkelbaev on the topic: "Latin problems and perspectives";

- Dean of the humanitarian faculty of the Atyrau State University named after H. Dosmukhamedov, candidate of historical sciences, member of the NEG ANC G.Kairgaliyeva on the subject: "Latın grafïkası negizindegi kazak alipbiinin tarihi negizderi"

- Director of the Atyrau regional "Small Academy of Arts" named after N.Tlendiyev, member of the Council of Mothers of ANC D.Taskarin on the topic: "Alipbi reformasi-uakit talabi"

The chairman of the Atyrau regional branch of the World Association of Kazakhs U. Alimgereev also shared his views: "The issue of transition to the Latin schedule should be discussed with deep comprehension, not giving in to emotions, as it concerns only the convenience and functionality of the language and there is no hint of political or geopolitical circumstances ".
