October 24, 2017 in the House of Friendship, the ceremony of awarding the winners of creative competition "Shanirak" in etnozhurnalistiki. The organizer of the contest is KGU "Kogamdyk kelіsim" of the apparatus of akim of Atyrau region.

Leaders of ethnocultural associations, members of the club of journalists, journalists of regional and district newspapers, employees of KGU "Kogamdyk kelіsim" and representatives of the media participated in the event.

The purpose and objectives of the competition: strengthening inter-ethnic peace and harmony in society by improving the skills and knowledge of journalists who publish materials on an inter-ethnic topic. Strengthening inter-ethnic harmony in the society and unity of the people of Kazakhstan, highlighting the achievements of the state policy in the field of interethnic relations and intercultural dialogue, promoting the culture, traditions of the Kazakh people and ethnic groups living in Kazakhstan, expanding the use of the state language, promoting the development of Kazakh journalism, enhancing the role and responsibility of Kazakhstani media when covering the topic of interethnic harmony.

The competition was held in several nominations: the best articles, the best photos of ethnocultural associations in printed and electronic publications; propaganda of culture, traditions of the Kazakh people and different ethnic groups living in Kazakhstan.

According to the decision of the jury:

I place was awarded to the correspondent of socio - political newspaper "Serper" Kurmangazy district Shakupovoy Ainagul;

II place was awarded to the correspondent of the newspaper "Prikaspiyskaya Kommuna", Li Angela Mikhailovna;

III place was awarded to the editor-in-chief of the social and political newspaper "Dender" of the Inder district, Zhanai Amanturlin, and the correspondent of the newspaper "Prikaspiyskaya Kommuna" Marina Zhuanysheva.

The photo-correspondents of the regional newspapers "Prikaspiyskaya Kommuna" and "Atyrau" A. Abilgaziev and E. Altybayev were awarded with an encouraging prize.

The works of the winners who won the first, second and third prizes were sent to Astana for participation in the republican contest.

A member of the jury, consultant-analyst of the director of TOO "Atyrau-akparat", chairman of the club of journalists Naukiev Utegen Amanshievich congratulated all those present and said: "We, the judges, tried to objectively assess the work. Each journalist in his writing style found his way to the heart of the reader".

Head of KGU "Kogamdyk kelіsim" T. Aman-Turlina said that this contest will be held annually and wished everyone creative success and grateful readers.

At the end of the event, T. Aman-Turlina and the correspondent of the social-political newspaper of the Kurmangazinsky district "Serper" Shakupova Ainagul were given interviews to the mass media, including local television.
