On September 29, the winners of the regional creative contest "Shanirak", organized by the regional assembly of the people of Kazakhstan, were awarded to the conference hall of the House of Friendship.

Every year, with the support of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan in all regions, creative competitions "Shanirak" are traditionally held among the representatives of the mass media, which broadly cover topics related to preserving the unity of the people, further strengthening public consensus.

The purpose of the competition is to strengthen public harmony and national unity in the country by encouraging journalists to cover the topic of inter-ethnic relations.

Since January 1 of the current year, several applications have been submitted for the competition. From the republican, regional, city TV channels and printed editions, 9 applications were accepted and considered. As part of the jury - authoritative and respected, experts in their field - the correspondent of the agency "Kazakparat" in the Kyzylorda region Elubai Auezov, senior lecturer of the Kazakh language, literature and journalism department of Korkyt Ata KGU, candidate of philological sciences Gulmira Ashirbekova, Gulmira Dildabekova, executive secretary of the regional newspaper "Akmeshit akshami", and Rakhima Akhmetova, deputy director of the communal state institution "Kogamdyk kelisim". They reviewed all the creative works, appreciated them and selected the best.

As a result, according to a fair decision of the jury from the press sphere, the first place was taken by a member of the World Writers' Union, veteran MVD RK Bolatbek Nurzhanov, the second was the correspondent of the city newspaper "Akmeshit aptaligi" Baglan Tleubergenova. And among the TV stories according to the richness of the language and the skill of resourcefulness, the first place went to his correspondent of the republican television channel "Khabar24" in the field of Nurlan Zhakypbekov.
