To revive the art of ancestors

Linking the historical past with modern realities, we are building a harmonious future. Today patriotism is viewed not simply as a moral value and an indicator of the high morale of society, but as a strong foundation that ties together the historical memory, the cultural heritage of its land, the customs and traditions of its people. Connecting together, the cultural identity of the people is transformed into a powerful transformative and creative force capable of ensuring the effective development of society.

Folk-applied art, without exaggeration, can be considered one of the significant components of the national culture. It perfectly reflects the richness and diversity of the creativity of its creator and is not separately associated with music, songs, orally-poetic creativity.

The objects of folk art filled the life of the family with colors, brightening up everyday life and holidays. The richest and most varied nature of Kazakhstan influenced the formation and development of the color and rich appearance of Kazakh applied art. Covering the whole range of manufactured items and taking into account the complexity of the technological process, one cannot help but admire the hard work of the masters, the high level of skill and the subtle artistic instinct that helps them to create unsurpassed masterpieces of national property from their own materials.

In the framework of the implementation of the goals of “Spiritual treasures” of the program “Native land”, proposed by the Head of State in the program article "Orientation: the spiritual revival of the future" as well as the national patriotic act "Eternal country", the chair "Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan" M. Kozybaev of the city of Petropavlovsk held the Regional Scientific and Methodological Seminar "Folk Decorative and Applied Art: Revival of Handicraft and Social Adaptation".

The seminar was attended by teachers from the KSU named by M.Kozybaeva, marketing specialists, representatives of ethno-cultural associations of the North Kazakhstan regional assembly of the people of Kazakhstan, museum staff, teachers of schools and masters of decorative and applied art.

Decorative and applied art is a form of preserving the national code, says Lyudmila Grivennaya, the head of the chair of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan. According to her, art must be eternal, and it is our duty to preserve what our ancestors gave to us, because in art lies the entire sacred meaning of ancient epochs.

Student Irina Priymak studies in Omsk, she is known in her homeland for her poems about her native land. And today she spoke about the development of handicrafts in the Siberian Center of Kazakh Culture.

Ancient Kazakh ornament - carries a deep meaning and even today modern designers use it in their products. Director of the fashion house "Fashionable" Samigulina Naila Salikhovna told about her work and showed her outfits. With the presentation "People skilled craftsmen of the North-Kazakhstan region", Dilyara Gibidullovna, deputy chairman of the NGO "Turkish culture", spoke. She talked about the outstanding creative figures of our region, the artisan’s artists and historians. Also, the participants learned about the peculiarities of wood carving, the development of creative abilities in the child, as well as the revival of folk traditions of artisanship in the teaching of the basics of the art of gifted children.

Products made of birch bark, found ancient objects of everyday life of the Kazakh people, felt products, paintings about the native land and national costumes filled the exhibition with its variety and beauty.

After the theoretical part, the seminar participants learned how to make felt products. Master class taught Imashbaeva Vera Ivanovna - a member of the Association of Artists of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The connection to folk art is the basis for the development of creative abilities in man.

Felt art is a long process, requiring certain skills. In ancient times, wool was made clothes, household items, and wool was the main element of raw materials. To date, felt art has become very popular; not only clothes and decorative objects decorating the house, but also picturesque paintings are made of it. The participants were particularly curious; many first held colored wool in their hands. The result surprised everyone, literally for a minute they had in their hands elegant flowers made of felt.

At the end of the seminar, all received certificates for participation and the students were addressed to the audience by the College of Arts, performing “kyis” of the Kazakh people on “kobyz”.

Each of us is responsible for preserving and reviving our common wealth, and only through joint efforts can we revitalize what for thousands of years has been carefully transferred from hand to hand. That passed the test of time, and so many consciousnesses from life to life crystallized in him all the best that the Creator provided them.
