On August 21, 1937, resolution No. 1428-326 ts (ts - "top secret") "On the eviction of the Korean population from the border regions of the Far Eastern Territory" was adopted. They moved them to the Kazakh and Uzbek SSR.

This year marks the 80th anniversary of the residing of Koreans in Kazakhstan. This date was dedicated to the event organized by the Korean cultural center "Chinson" in the Akmola region with the support of KGU "Kogamdyk kelesim" and Akmola Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan.

In her speech, the center's chairman Lyudmila Lim noted that

"For 80 years, during which Koreans live on the fertile Kazakh land, this is not just a series of events, dates are a shared life, a common history, this is the spiritual, cultural unification of our peoples".

"Ariran" is one of the most popular folk songs of the Korean nation. Not only on the Korean peninsula, but anywhere in the world where Koreans live, you can hear this song. It also sounded in the palace of public consent "Kogamdyk kelesim", where the event took place.

Vocal and dance numbers alternated with the award ceremony: for example, Vladimir Pak, President of the Humanitarian Technical College, was awarded with the gold medal of the Association of Koreans of the Republic of Kazakhstan, chairman of the Korean cultural center "Chinson" Lyudmila Lim, deputy chairman of the center Iskra Moon. Many warm words were said, presented by the soloists of the Korean cultural center "Chinson" and the concert program.

Everyone involuntarily deported from their native lands has been disturbed by the habitual way of life, ethnic and cultural component, the connection with relatives and friends has been lost, in a flash, he was destroyed by his many years of work. But they had the life-force, will and determination to resist the blows of fate, which, along with the hospitality and charity of the Kazakhs, helped to survive. Today, being citizens of multinational Kazakhstan, living in peace and harmony, ethnoses are firmly on their feet, contributing to the socio-economic development of the country that has become their homeland - the Republic of Kazakhstan!
