On March 20, a round table discussion on the use of mediation methods for the prevention of child suicide in the educational environment was held at Friendship House of Astana.

Suicide is a global and tragic problem for the world community.

Every child's death is a tragedy. Every such case shows that fear of life overcomes fear of death. Suicide studies and case studies show that the majority of young people decide to commit suicide in order to draw the attention of others to their problems. Therefore, to know about this problem, to know how to help a person in case of danger, how to persuade him to choose the direction of life, with him to find a way out of a situation that still seems intractable, every adult person, every parent responsible for the life of his child. The participants of the round table paid their attention to these relevant problems.
