The conference hall of the House of Friendship hosted a round table "Language is the support of friendship", organized by the regional assembly of the people of Kazakhstan. Leaders and activists of ethno-cultural associations, members of the scientific-expert group of the regional ANC, representatives of the regional department of internal policy, philologists, activists of the youth wing and the media took part in it.

The round table was held by the deputy director of KGU "Kogamdyk kelіsim" Rahim Akhmetov.

The participants of the event discussed the role and place of the state language in the conditions of multilingualism, the modernization of the Kazakh language, the priority of studying the Kazakh language in conditions of trilingualism, the significance of the transition to the Latin alphabet, language culture and modern society.

Director of GKP "Regional Language Training Center" of the regional department of internal policy N.Musayev, teacher of the Korean language of the Department of Foreign Languages ​​and Translation KGU Korkyt atam Kim Da Min, head of the Tatar ethnocultural association G.Gizatullina. They shared their thoughts that the development of languages ​​is one of the most important areas of the state language policy.

It should be noted that with the purpose of teaching the state language of students of various ethnic groups, propaganda of national values, which are the spiritual basis of society, starting in 2015, under the auspices of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, the republican cultural and educational project "My Ball" is organized.

Within the framework of the project, a regional contest of author's projects for teaching Kazakh language in Russian classes was held, 15 applications were submitted for participation in the contest. According to the results of the competition, the first place winner was the teacher of the educational and innovative lyceum No. 10 G. Baynazar, the second place went to the teacher of the school-lyceum # 14 of the Aral district Galie Kurumbayeva, and the third place was occupied by the teacher of the lyceum school № 7 R. Asylbekyzy and the teacher of the lyceum school №36 of the Syrdarya region Akmaral Serikbayeva. All of them are awarded with valuable prizes.
