XXIV SESSION OF THE ASSEMBLY OF THE PEOPLE OF KAZAKHSTAN «STABILITY, UNITY, CONSENT – BASIS OF MODERNIZATION»

On the 26th of April, 2016 at the Palace of Peace and Consent in Astana under the chairmanship of the President of Kazakhstan, the Chairman of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev was held XXV Session of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan. Agenda of the Session: «Stability, unity, consent – basis of modernization».

More than 1500 people took part in the Session. Among them: members and veterans of the Assembly from all regions, chairmen of republican and regional ethnic and cultural associations, deputies of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, heads of central executive bodies, political parties, religious associations, NGOs, heads of the universities, diplomatic missions of foreign countries, representatives of science, art and Mass media.

Among the speakers were delegates from regions, foreign guests, representatives of working professions, budget and youth organizations, civil society etc.

During the Session the President signed an order on appointment of deputies chairmen of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan. There are: Vishnyak Sergei Viktorovich – member of the APK, chairman of Council of Public consent of Aktobe region, and Hamedov Abulfaz Muslimovich – member of the APK Council, chairman of the republican PA «Association of Azerbajanis».

Following the XXIV Session Assembly adopted an Address, which underlines that modernization of public consciousness is regular and necessary, integrates the whole development strategy of Kazakhstan.

Competitiveness, pragmatism, preservation of national identity should become organic features of Kazakhstan people and each of us individually.

In Address the APK urged the people of Kazakhstan to support the implementation of the initiatives of the Head of State to modernize public consciousness.

At that point XXV session of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan has completed its work. Following the session, a festive concert was held.
