A development of the institution of mediation is one of the main activities of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, as ensuring interethnic harmony is directly related to the mediation tasks.

Nur-Sultan and a group of professional mediators from Karaganda, working in this direction on behalf of the Department of Internal Policy of Karaganda region, have developed а textbook of methodics “Ethnomediation” for the first time in the country (the mediation in resolving interethnic and intercultural disputes).

This textbook of methodics is not a reflection of what is happening in society. It is designed to eliminate and prevent these situations. The authors have prepared both theoretical bases and practical applications based on the legislative and regulatory documents, methodological literature and interesting scientific articles.

An event was attended by the Head of the Department of Internal Policy of Karaganda region Erlan Kusayin:

- Nowadays, this topic is considered as the topical issue, especially in the activities of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan. After all, its main task is to implement the state national policy, to ensure socio-political stability in the Republic of Kazakhstan, and to increase the effectiveness of interaction between the state and civil society institutions in the field of interethnic relations.

During the presentation, a member of the Scientific and Expert Council of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, the Chairman of the Public Association “Uzbek Ethnocultural Center” Sherzod Pulatov, the Head of the Reconciliation Center of Karaganda Regional Trade Union Center, the President of “Zolotaya seredina-SM” Sveta Shardarbekova, and other certified coaches spoke on.

Sherzod Pulatov noted that the comprehensive and effective work of mediators of Karaganda Assembly and thanked the regional department of internal policy for joint work in the development of this area.

At the end of the event, the organizers explained how to get this textbook of methodics.
