September 1, 2015 at 15.50 h. in Baikonur city, Kyzylorda region, held a solemn transfer of the Flag of the Assembly of people of Kazakhstan to Kazakhstan cosmonaut Aidyn Aimbetov.

The ceremony of transfer will be held during the meeting of cosmonaut and the crew of "Soyuz TMA-18M" spaceship with Vice Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Berdybek Saparbayev, Akim of Kyzylorda region - Krymbek Kusherbayev, Deputy Chairman of the Assembly of people of Kazakhstan - Head of Secretariat of APK Yeraly Tugzhanov.

"Soyuz TMA-18M" manned spaceship will launch on September 2, at 10.00 h., with the participation of representatives of APK, government agencies, ethnocultural associations, youth.

June 22, 2015 the Interdepartmental commission in Cosmonaut training center approved Aydin Aimbetov as a space flight participant of "Soyuz TMA-18M" MTS. Russian cosmonaut Sergei Volkov and European astronaut Andreas Mogensen preparing to fly into orbit in one carriage with A. Aimbetov.

Aydin Aimbetov has been declared fit for space flight for health reasons by decision of the State medical commission on July 28, 2015. August 10, decision of Interdepartmental commission recommended A. Aimbetov for continuing the preflight preparation at Baikonur cosmodrome along with members of primary and backup crews of ISS-45/46 / VE-18. August 18, 2015 the main crew of "Soyuz TMA-18M" manned spaceship arrived at Baikonur cosmodrome, and began to prepare for the flight.

In space flight aboard the space station Kazakhstani astronaut plans to hold a series of physical-space experiments, as well as space monitoring of environmental conditions in Aral and Caspian Seas, to study of dust storms.
