An international scientific-practical online conference “Forty girls” - the heroic epic of the Karakalpak people organized by the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan and the Karakalpak ethno-cultural association “Zhaikhun” was held in the House of Friendship of Nur-Sultan. The conference was organized on the basis of ZOOM platform.

Nowadays, the center of the House of Friendship “Zhyr” is popular both in Kazakhstan and abroad. The head of the center, well-known professor Almasbek Almatov, is the moderator of our conference today. Many people are familiar with the creative program of the “Zhyr” center. It should be noted that the cultural center has expanded its borders and rose to the international level once again. A heroic epic “Forty Girls” is a literary epic and historical monument. It depicts the events of both ancient and modern times, in particular, the military battles of the XVIII century in Khorezm and Turkestan. The brave girls of the epic are actually the heroes who protects their souls from the invaders with a fist in their hand. An epic poem clearly reflects the ideals of patriotism, justice, friendship of the peoples. At the end of the poem, the victorious Westerners will rule the country with the representatives of the indigenous peoples of Khorezm – the Karakalpaks, Uzbeks, Kazakhs and Turkmens.
