September 16 at the Palace of schoolchildren named after M. Utemisov, in the framework of the national project "Big Country - Big Family", was organized a contest among the youth departments of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan of Astana city for the best video presentation of ethno-cultural associations, dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

A creative event, organized by KSU «Kogamdyk kelesim» of Akimat of Astana city, was attended by Deputy Chairman of Astana city branch of "Nur Otan", Vladislav Sergeev, Head of the Secretariat of the APK Astana Lyazzat Kusainova, as well as representatives of the youth wings and ethno-cultural associations. In addition, as members of the jury that day were chairman of the Council of public consent Astana Amirzhan Alpeisov, Director of SCCE "Palace “Zhastar” Akimat of Astana city Sergey Solodovnikov, director of the Palace of schoolchildren named after M. Utemisov Vadim MOTORIN and director of "Studio "Korkem" Jenis Agibaev.

Head of the Secretariat of the APK Astana Lyazzat Kusainova stressed the particular importance of the contest and wished success and positivity to all the participants: "The main purpose of today's competition in the first place is to promote ideas of inter-ethnic harmony in the society, and of course in active young people bring to the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan's activity".

The opening contest marked a colorful show and vibrant dances performed by the ensemble «Prime Dance Company» gave a good impression and feel both to guests and participants.

Deputy Chairman of Astana city branch of "Nur Otan", Vladislav Sergeev, in turn, shared his impressions, overwhelmed him in anticipation of the opening of the competition, and said a lot of work and the contribution of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan youth wings who presented their works in the competition: "Being a man united in currently different nationalities - from Russian, German, Kazakh, Polish, during his short life, had to participate in various international gatherings, both in Kazakhstan and abroad. Therefore, as no one else know about important and necessary work that you spend - ethno-cultural centers and their youth wings. I am sure that every one of you, every ambitious young citizen of Kazakhstan is a great future. "

The contest was initiated in order to foster the continuity of generations, respect for national traditions and customs. Nine ethnic and cultural associations demonstrated their creative works; seven associations have passed to the second stage of the competition. There are the youth wing of the NGO "Belarusian ethnocultural center "Radim", youth wing of the public association of Koreans in Astana, the youth wing of the NGO "Society of Germans "Revival", the youth wing of the NGO "Tatar-Bashkir ethnocultural center "Tan", the youth wing of the NGO "Society Ukrainians "Charm", the youth wing of the NGO "Uzbek ethnocultural center" and the youth wing of the NGO "Bulgarian ethno-cultural center "Golden".

Each video presentation is a small masterpiece with a unique atmosphere, full of love, respect and devotion to the traditions and customs of its people, which fully revealed the theme of this competition.

The unanimous opinion of the jury in this competition the first place was awarded to the youth wing of the NGO "Society" Charm "of Ukrainians, second place went to the youth wing of ethnocultural association of Koreans in Astana, the bronze medal solemnly handed "Tatar-Bashkir ethnic and cultural center "Tan".
