Today in Saryagash district was held a solemn event "Day of language, culture and traditions of the Tajik ethnic group", dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

At the celebration of the Tajik ethnic group was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, South Kazakhstan region, head of the secretariat of the Regional Assembly M.Kalmuratov, who in his congratulatory speech said that the unity and stability of the society - the basis of the country's development.

Speaking as Chairman of the Regional Tajik ethnocultural association A.Kudaykulov expressed his gratitude to the Head of State of the state policy, through which the representatives of all ethnic groups has created favorable conditions for the preservation and development of language and culture.

The event continued with a saturated concert program, in which letters of thanks of the regional assembly of the active members of ethno-cultural associations have been awarded.

To date, the South Kazakhstan region is home to over 35 thousand representatives of the Tajik ethnic group. Tajik ethno-cultural association created in 1995 and since that time the association takes an active part in the social life of the region.
