Happy Holidays! With the Day of Unity of the People of Kazakhstan! With the First of May! - on the square of Abylay-khan of the regional center, Kokshetau residents and guests welcomed each other in many languages. Sincere wishes of peace and good are clear to all without translation.

Long before the solemn opening of the festive program on the venues, prepared by ethno-cultural associations, sounded Caucasian rhythms, Kazakh, Russian, Armenian, Uzbek, German incendiary songs... And the meals with which the tables were set were pleasing not only the eyes and smell of those who came to the feast. National dishes cooked according to ancient recipes fell into the guests' liking.

A lot of people gathered near the site of the regional Polish ethno-cultural association. After all, not every day we are invited to a wedding. The bride and groom were so persuasive, and the guests were so cheerful that it was hard to believe that we had only a performance of the wedding Polish rite.

At 11 o'clock were heard the festive call signs. From the stage there were solemn words from the leading: "Consent and solidarity, common responsibility for the fate of the Fatherland - are the main sources of strength of the people of Kazakhstan and confidence in the future."

- We are together in work, during testing, in the days of celebrations, - this idea was a refrain sounded in the speech of mayor of the region Malik Murzalin. Congratulating with the holiday, which rightfully became a symbol of unity and unity of our people, Malik Kenesbaevich, paid special attention to the "Native land" program, which is intended to become one of the bases of our nationwide patriotism.

In our small homeland - Akmola region - has a glorious historical past," said the mayor of the region. - In less than two centuries, since the 29-th of April, 1824, the settlement which began from our Kokshetau, has turned into a beautiful modern city. I propose to celebrate City Day in these beautiful spring days next year.

His words that we are confidently marching into the future with remembering the lessons of history, and without breaking the thread of time, became a single nation, the participants of the holiday, greeted with applause. Like the words: "The people of Kazakhstan showed their best qualities when two weeks ago they came to the aid of people affected by the spring flood. The Akmola Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan initiated a large-scale charitable action. Humanitarian aid is being provided from all regions of our country, voluntary donations from citizens and collectives are received on a special account. "

- We have a common dream - to make our Motherland prosperous. We - the residents of Akmola - should use all the opportunities and reserves to ensure the sustainable development of our region and the country as a whole. Only together we can build “Eternity country” - eternal, prosperous Kazakhstan! Let our unity remain indestructible, - Malik Murzalin’s final speech became a prologue of an unforgettable bright theatrical performance, hundreds of young residents of the city participated in which.

In the first part of it – “Peaceful and harmonious, my native land – Kazakhstan” - the wonderful bird Samruk that came to us from Kazakh mythology, which became a symbol of freedom, pride and happiness, was a link between the past and the future of Kazakhstan. The best dance groups of the city managed to pass this dance language.

In the second part of the show, the area that became a scenic stage was filled by 200 children who performed a musical and choreographic composition "The Sun of Peace, Sun of Happiness".

The final part of the composition - "Friendship - our foundation!" - began with the song "About the President" in the brilliant performance of Ayana and Kuttykyz Aidosov from Tselinograd region. Soloist from Zerenda region Serali Baidaliev, who sang the final song "Kazakhistan", sang not only the vocal groups. 1000 balloons, soaring into the sky, became a bright point of view.

And the feast lasted until late in the evening. The people of Kokshetau came by families. There were no bored people, for everyone there was entertainment for the soul and for the age.

50 prizes - children's books in Kazakh and Russian languages ​​- were deserved by young participants of the language site "Polyglot", organized by teachers of the regional educational and methodological center. Solved anagrams, jumping rope, the account was conducted in three languages, "guessing" in the contest "Understand me" had to be formulated in Kazakh. "It was not difficult for me," says Katya Yakovleva, a student of the secondary school №8. - I will try harder now to try to learn the state language.

For a long time participants of the festival admired the works of students of children's art school and students of the art and graphic faculty of KSU named by Sh.Ualikhanov, with products of masters of handicrafts. And all this sounded by the  festive concert.

"We are very pleased that our acquaintance with Kokshetau coincided with this wonderful holiday," said Sinyakova's relatives who came from Kyrgyzstan and Karaganda region for the anniversary of their brother. - What a good, clean city you have, and people are benevolent, cheerful.
