Donor's Day held capital's Friendship House

The House of Friendship held a charity event "Give Blood Save Life!"


The organizers of the event were Assembly of People of Kazakhstan of Nur-Sultan, Research and Production Center of Transfusiology of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the World Health Organization.


Members of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan in Nur-Sultan, the capital's youth, volunteers and media representatives participated in the event.

Gulnara Taigokova, Chief Specialist of Assembly of People of Kazakhstan Secretariat in Nur-Sultan, noted the importance of this charity event. "To be a donor is to save someone else's life. After all, blood is an important part of citizens' health. Therefore, we are grateful to those who want to become a donor and take part in today's charity event," G.Taigokova said.


Speaking about the importance of the action, Oleg Chestnov, Permanent Representative of the World Health Organization in Kazakhstan, and Sanya Abdrakhmanova, Director of the Research and Production Center of Transfusiology of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, expressed the gratitude to the citizens for their active participation in the action "Give Blood, Save Life!


In the course of the action, the first donors were given letters of gratitude from the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan of Nur-Sultan. A concert program was organized for the participants of the event.


In turn, the Research and Production Center of Transfusiology presented special gifts to donors.


It is worth noting that the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan of Nur-Sultan always pays attention to various spheres of life and supports charitable activities.
