November 7, 2016 at the Palace of Independence held an extended meeting of the Scientific Expert Council of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, devoted to the 25th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Chairman of the APC Yeraly Tugzhanov, Majilis deputy, members of the Scientific and Expert Council, representatives of state bodies, scientific and creative intelligentsia, heads of scientific and expert groups of regions, heads of departments and centers of the APC universities of the country and the media.

During the Council examined the historical and legal aspects of the strengthening of Kazakhstan's identity on citizenship principle, discussed topical issues of the methodology of a single case study of inter-ethnic relations, and others.

Deputy Chairman of the APC Yeraly Tugzhanov noted in his speech the importance of the work of members of the APC NES in shaping public policy consensus, strengthens civic identity and inter-ethnic harmony.

The meeting summed up the results of the Republican Assembly of People of Kazakhstan the contest for the best research project, devoted to Kazakhstan's model of social cohesion and national unity of the First President of Kazakhstan - Leader of the Nation Nursultan Nazarbayev  (Appendix 1).

Also before the meeting was held presentation of the book M.Auezov "The Binding Thread" and the National analytical review devoted to Kazakhstan's model of social cohesion and national unity.
