December 13, 2017 in the House of Friendship of Almaty on the eve of the celebration of Independence Day, the Forum of Uighur women "Let's glorify the woman of labor" was held. The organizer of the event, held to support and honor the women of the Uyghur ethnos, having achievements and merits in various fields of activity, was the Republican Cultural Center of Uighurs of Kazakhstan.

Within the framework of the forum, invited guests were invited to participate in the forum - activists of the Uygur ethnos: representatives of the Uighur media, public figures, representatives of science and culture, the elders of the Mothers Council.

Participants had the opportunity to participate in master classes in cooking, needlework, modern dance, oratorical skills. Also, as part of the event, the women of the Uygur ethnos were presented with an exhibition of national dishes and arts.

The event ended with a concert program and a ceremony of rewarding activists of the forum.
