The National Contest "Good family" is held on the initiative of the Head of State this year for the fourth time. Among the contestants, along with large families, the best families of doctors, teachers, athletes, soldiers, artists, entrepreneurs participate.

The ceremony of awarding the winners of the regional stage of the nationwide competition was held in Petropavlovsk. The Andreev family from Shal Akyn district and Temirkhanovs from Petropavlovsk occupied the third place. On the second - the Omarovs from the Mamlutsky region and the Tasmaganbetovs from the district named after G.Musrepov. The winners were the family of Nekibayevs from the Kyzylzhar district and the Parkhomenko family from Petropavlovsk. Kozhatay Seytakhmetuly is a veteran of the Great Patriotic War. In 1943 he was called to the Second Ukrainian Front, where he served in the 386-th Infantry Division. Participated in the battles for the liberation of Zhytomyr, Rovno, Livov, Brotislava, Brno. After the war, returning to his homeland, Kozhatay Seytakhmetuly worked in the village for 32 years as a primary school teacher. His case was continued by three sons, three daughters-in-law and four grandchildren. Together with his wife Aysha Sagyndykovna they brought up 10 children. The total teaching experience of the Nekibayev family is 200 years. The honorary first place was also taken by members of the Parkhomenko family from Petropavlovsk. Head of the family Alexander Mikhailovich is an actor of the highest category of the regional puppet theater. Zarema Khadzhimuratovna - head of the student's club of the SKGU named after M.Kozybaev. Alexander and Zarema raise four children. For their creative achievements, the spouses were repeatedly encouraged by various awards. All the winners were awarded valuable gifts.
