August 22 in the land of ancient Taraz began the regional historical and cultural expedition "Know Your Land!". Its organizer was the scientific and expert group at the assembly of the people of Kazakhstan in the Zhambyl region.

The action was attended by representatives of regional ethnocultural associations, historical and local lore museums, youth organizations, libraries of all levels, the scientific expert group of the Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan and the media. The main goal of the expedition is the realization of the project "Spiritual sacred places of Kazakhstan" to modernize the public consciousness in accordance with the tasks set forth in the article "Looking to the Future: Modernizing the Public Consciousness", as well as supporting and promoting the Kazakhstan model of public harmony and national unity.

The expedition members met at the Friendship House in the city of Taraz and divided into three directions. Kamal Narbatyrov, deputy head of KSU "Kokamdyk kelisim" of Akim of Zhambyl region, in turn, wished all participants a good way: "Every representative of an ethnos must know the remote places of our region, because every corner of our region is something close, dear, intimate. Ak Zhol, dear travelers! ".

The first direction was provided for visiting the mausoleum of Karakhan Baba in Taraz and the mausoleum of Aisha Bibi in Zhambyl district. The further way went to the museum of Bauyrzhan Momyshuly in Zhualynsky district, the Tamda settlement in Talas district and the museum of the name of Ykylas Dukenuly in the Sarisu district.

Meanwhile, the second route of the expedition went to the town of Akyrtas in the Baizak region, the town of Kulan toe in the area of ​​T. Ryskulov and the mausoleum of Sypatai batyr in the Merken district. Participants of the third direction were to visit the Zhaisan sanctuary in Shuisky district and the mausoleum of Utegen batyr in the Kordai district.

The participants of the expedition were the responsible employees of KSU "Kokamdyk kelisim" of the apparatus of akim of Zhambyl region and the chairman of the youth league "Ak Zhelken" at the regional assembly of the people of Kazakhstan Zainuddin Makhuseev. An acquaintance with historical sites and cultural monuments was practiced by archaeologist Sauran Kaliyev, well-known to the whole region.

The results of the historical and cultural expedition "Know Your Land!" Were summed up in the "Berikkara" tract of the Zhailygin District and continued with the Youth Forum "ANC Youth 2017".
