September 1, from 7 o'clock in the morning, near the regional mosque of Becket Ata, the holiday of Kurban Ait was organized, which is the main holiday of all Muslims!

Before the beginning of the ayt prayer, akim of the Mangistau region Eraly Tugzhanov congratulated all those present on the great holy feast, celebrated by Muslims all over the world, wishing peace, prosperity and happiness.

After reading the Koran, a ritual of sacrifice was held. The Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan in Mangistau oblast, the regional ethno-cultural association and the employees of the communal state institution "Kokamdyk kelisim" of the apparatus of the akim of the Ministry of Defense were invited to the festive dastrakhan.

In honor of the blessed holiday "Kurban Ait", the Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan in the Mangistau region, the regional ethno-cultural association and the employees of the communal public institution "Kokamdyk kelisim" of the akim of the Ministry of Defense carried out a charitable action.

According to a pre-selected list, meat of sacrificial animals was carried to low-income families. Assistance to the vital in the food ration product was provided to 12 families in a difficult situation, with low material wealth, where there are many minors and there are children with disabilities.

The chairman of the Korean ethnocultural association "Choson" Madenova Rais shared her emotions:

- Kurban Ayt is considered to be the brightest holiday, which unites all, because on this day we make sacrifices, we help the poor and the poor. And we do not just give out meat, but give a piece of our heart, so that this person's life is also improved, it was better. This holiday united all. Here, Russians, Koreans, Chechens, and Dagestanis are all nationalities living in Mangistau Oblast. I am proud to live in the beautiful land of Mangistau. We have an international family that respects all traditions. I wish everyone happiness, prosperity and peace.

The regional mosque also organized sports events, recreating national traditions. The boys were offered a competition to raise a ram weighing 35 kg. Also there were competitions on kures, lifting of weights, arm wrestling, etc. Winners were awarded medals and valuable prizes.
