On 14^th December 2016 a ceremony for awarding the members of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, representatives of ethno-cultural associations, creative and scientific intelligentsia was held in the House of Friendship in Almaty.

The event taking place on the eve of the 25^th anniversary of Independence was attended by the Deputy Chairman of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan Yeraly Tugzhanov, Majilis deputies of Kazakh Parliament, members of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, government representatives, and representatives of ethnic and cultural associations, scientific and creative intelligentsia, and the media.

"KR Tauelsizdigine 25 zhyl" anniversary medals and "Kazakhstan Halky Assambleyasynyn Birlik "Altyn medalі" public award of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan were decorated (Annex 1).
