Our strength in unity!

Under this name in Kokshetau was already an annual charity festival of Russian and Cossack songs organized by NGO "Russian community of Akmola region" with the support of the coordinating council of Russian, Slavic and Cossack organizations of Kazakhstan and the Akmola Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan.

In her opening speech, the head of the secretariat of the Akmola Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, Maral Dzhakupova, noted that the festival through the song culture will continue to strengthen cooperation, form the ideas of spiritual unity, friendship and interethnic harmony.

Chairman of the Coordination Council of Russian Cossack and Slavic organizations of Kazakhstan Yuri Zakharov congratulated all the guests and participants of the festival, and one of the main organizers of the festival - the chairman of the Russian community of Akmola region Alexander Artemenko - noted that all proceeds will be used to complete the construction of the cathedral in Kokshetau. Father Constantine, the priest of the temple of Archangel Michael in Kokshetau, remarked: it is symbolic that the new mosque and the temple under construction are on the same street, not far from each other, which testifies to the indestructible friendship and unity of all ethnic groups of the country.

Performance exemplary Cossack vocal and choreographic ensemble "Belfry - Heritage" from Petropavlovsk set the tone for the entire festival! The zest of the ensemble is that the artists here dance and sing, but they do it with all their heart, that the spectators in the hall splashed their emotions in a storm of applause.

His unique style and Cossack daring was demonstrated by the vocal ensemble of the Russian, Cossack and Slavic songs "Cossack Will" from Kostanay and the folk ensemble of the Cossack song "Volya" from Pavlodar.

Folk song carries a huge energy, because it was transmitted from generation to generation, from mouth to mouth. Perhaps, therefore, the soulful songs of the ensemble "Bogatitsa" and the ensemble "Daddy Ataman" from the city of Astana touched the soul to all spectators. The secret of masterful performance lies in the love of the song, which is above all else for artists.

Known to many Kokshetau people folk ensemble "Russian Song" from year to year demonstrates boundless devotion to the musical heritage of Russian and Cossack songs. In the next happy round deserved a storm of applause the collective of the ensemble under the direction of Zoya Avilova. The soloists Lyudmila Starovoit and Olesya Tsyganova also enjoyed the audience.

The festival has come to its end, the final song has died down, but admired spectators do not hurry to disperse. "Balsam per capita", - confesses one of the townspeople. "I am under such impression that I will remember it in a month," her friend replies.

The folk song unites people, helps to overcome the atomization of the modern urban way of life, to feel like a single people. For the sake of this, the artists try, wishing everyone to convey their love for the Russian song. And the love and appreciation of the audience is a fair and worthy reward.
