Photo Journey To Incredible India
The Embassy of India in Kazakhstan, in cooperation with the National Academic Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan, organized a photo exhibition ‘Incredible India’: An Enchanting Pluralistic Culture".
The photo exhibition is a part of the celebration of "Days of India in Nur Sultan" and demonstrates the culture and life of the country.
Opening the exhibition, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to Kazakhstan, Mr. Prabhat Kumar said that the exhibition is dedicated to the 73rd anniversary of India's Independence Day.
"The exhibition is presented in four sections: "Festivals of India", "Cultural Heritage Sites of India", "Wildlife of India" and "Brides of India". The best photos were selected from the Embassy's Section to introduce the rich culture of India to Kazakhstanis" Mr. Prabhat Kumar.
India and Kazakhstan are actively cooperating in many areas, and regular bilateral official visits play an important role in this, the Ambassador said.
"The Embassy has a Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre, where people can attend free music, dance, yoga and Hindi classes.
Tourism cooperation between Kazakhstan and India is actively developing. At the photo exhibition you can see many cultural sights of India, which are of great interest to Kazakhstani tourists. In turn, travelers from India often come to Kazakhstan to admire Almaty mountains.
It is necessary to note the bilateral cooperation between the two countries in the field of education. Many students from India enter medical universities of Kazakhstan. In addition, it is planned to enroll students in Nazarbayev University and D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan State Technical University. I also know that al-Farabi Kazakh National University will participate in an educational exhibition in India to attract Indian students to Kazakhstan" Mr. Prabhat Kumar said.
In addition, Mr. Ambassador mentioned the successful implementation of trade and economic projects. Last year, trade turnover between the two countries reached $1.2 billion, he said.
India is generally interested in cooperating with Kazakhstan in many sectors, including energy, oil and agricultural products, and intends to strengthen bilateral relations in the coming years.
