From now on, a new social force acts in the towns and villages of Zhambyl region. The announcement was held on July 20 in the conference hall of the KSU "Kogamdyk kelіsіm" by akim of the region at the meeting of the Board of the regional Assembly of People of Kazakhstan.

- Currently in the region there are 166 councils on Public Consent operating in: single-industry towns, regional centers, rural districts, and large enterprises. Today, in the Assembly of Peoples of Kazakhstan's, we are completing the creation of the structure of regional councils meetings which combine more than a thousand known representatives of political parties, public bodies and non-governmental organizations, ethnic and cultural associations. Councils have already proved being universal, as an effective dialogue platform between the government and the population, - said at the meeting Marjane Kuzhaeva, Deputy Chairman, Head of the Secretariat of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, Zhambyl region.

The main item on the agenda of the meeting was: "The role of boards of public consent in the promotion and implementation of state policy in the field of social cohesion and national unity." Presentations were made by the chief expert of the scientific department and expert support of KSU "Kogamdyk kelіsіm" Zhambyl region akim Larisa Lisova.

Later L.Lysova specified the examples highlighting the issues of powers and functions of the Council of public consent, the organization of activities, interaction within the public authorities management and civil society institutions.

Discussion of the report was lively and interesting, as well as other issues on the agenda of the meeting. Regional plan on social consensus of the Council was updated for the second half of the year, settling a number of organizational issues. Public Assembly consent of the Council Chairman of the People of Kazakhstan elected Shabd Tleumurat as a deputy chairman of the Zhambyl regional, branch of the "Nur Otan" party, Deputy Chairman of the Council – Lubov' Gorr as a chairman of the NGO "Russian ethno-cultural associations of Baizak district". Council Secretary - Saule Kurmankulova, the head of the department of methodical maintenance and interethnic relations, monitoring KSU "Kogamdyk kelіsіm". The composition of the board formed commissions and working groups to monitor the implementation of decisions in the field of public consent, monitoring of social issues in information, advocacy and relations with the media and public.
