Ruslan Aushev in his native land

 

Russian political and public figure, the first president of the Republic of Ingushetia, since 1991 - chairman of the Committee on the affairs of soldiers-internationalists under the Council of Heads of Government of the CIS. Hero of the Soviet Union.

His parents were deported to Kazakhstan in 1994. Ruslan Sultanovich was born in the village of Volodarovskoe of the Kokchetav region of the Kazakh SSR. Today he arrived after so many years in the now-called village of Saumalkol in the North Kazakhstan region. He spent his childhood here, graduated from secondary school No. 1, where to this day his photos and books about the hero of his native land are kept.

In 1975, Aushev graduated from the Ordzhonikidze Combined Arms Command School named after Marshal of the Soviet Union Eremenko. In 1975-1976 he commanded a motorized rifle platoon, from 1976 to 1979 - a motor rifle company. From 1979 to 1980, he held the post of Chief of Staff of the Motorized Rifle Battalion, and from 1981 to 1982 he was commander of a motorized rifle battalion as part of a limited contingent of Soviet troops in Afghanistan.

According to former fellow soldiers, Aushev first served in the medical battalion and went into motorized rifle troops with a demotion (from the major to the captain's), just to be on the front line. The battalion, led by Aushev, was the best in Kabul. To soldiers in combat training classes, he made the most stringent demands - but the losses in the battalion were significantly less than in others.

For courage and heroism shown during the service in Afghanistan, by decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of May 7, 1982, captain Aushev was awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Gold Star Medal.

In 1985, Aushev graduated from the Frunze Military Academy and was appointed chief of staff of the regiment operating in Afghanistan. In 1987 he returned to Russia and in 1991 became a People's Deputy of the USSR, since then began his political activities.

Ingush is by nationality, he was a soul for his people. Having learned about the exile of the Ingush from North Ossetia, which they had been living with for a long time, he left Moscow and came to Nazran. Becoming a leader of the people, he managed to keep them from trying to avenge Russia and Ossetians for what had happened.

On January 15, 1993, an initiative group established in the capital of Ingushetia decided to nominate him for the post of president of the Ingush Republic. In the elections held on February 28, 1993, about 95 percent of voters voted for Aushev. In March 1993, the general officially became the first president of the Republic of Ingushetia.

To this day, he is thanked for his honesty and conscientiousness in his work, he swore he would be faithful to his people, and the people remained faithful to him. During the eight years of rule, Ruslan Aushev improved the economic situation in the Republic, lowered taxes, and set up an internal political situation.

When they arrived in Kazakhstan, many people remembered and told about his feat in Beslan. On 2 September 2004, Aushev took part in negotiations with terrorists in the seized school No. 1 in Beslan. The former president of Ingushetia became the only one to whom the militants were allowed to come directly to school. Putting his life at risk, Ruslan Aushev conducted intensive negotiations in the school building with the leader of the gang Ruslan Khuchbarov, as a result of which he managed to secure the release of eleven women with infants. I personally took with me one more baby, whose mother stayed with her older child in the gym and died the next day.

Chechen and Ingush came to meet with Ruslan Sultanovich from Astana, Kokchetav and Petropavlovsk. Everyone considers him a man of honor and is proud that he is his countryman.

Akim of the North Kazakhstan region Kumar Aksakalov met the guest of honor in his native Ayrtausky district. Since he left, much has changed here. In 2005, on the hill was opened the mausoleum of two glorious batyrs of the Kazakh steppe - Karasai and Agyntaya.

After Ruslan Aushev visited his house, where he lived and his native school. Students honor his exploits, compose poetry and read books about his biography. According to the students, it is a great honor to see the hero in the school. They honored the memory of those who lost their lives in the Great Patriotic War and soldiers of internationalists who fought for peace on their land. The laying of flowers brought together teachers, military personnel and associates of Ruslan Aushev, with whom he once served in Afghanistan. He remembers everyone with whom the company and who was the commander. For all this was a special period in life.

In the House of Culture of the village of Saumalkol a meeting was held with the guest of honor and the administration of the region. Aydarbek Saparov, the first deputy akim of the region, welcomed Ruslan Sultanovich and opened the event. The special attitude to the native land is the most important part of patriotism, today in Kazakhstan there is a modernization of public consciousness, an important program that we follow, and one of the key points for this purpose is the celebration and celebration of the personalities and heroes of our land. Ruslan Aushev is a native of Kazakhstan, he grew up among the Kazakh steppes, the Ingush by nationality he fought for the peace of his people, and the people of the entire Soviet Union. Arriving in his native land, he was greeted with great respect and deep respect, the head of the Ayyrtausky district handed the medal of the honorary citizen. Ruslan Sultanovich, in turn, gave the native school the keys to the new bus.

 Members of the Chechen-Ingush center "Vainakh" headed by chairman Saip Bayduev also expressed their respect to the countryman in a personal conversation. Ruslan Aushev was glad to see his brothers in blood and spirit, he is always open to the people.

At the end of the event the guests enjoyed bright Chechen dances performed by a children's ensemble from the city of Astana and other creative numbers. It was an open and warm meeting with a man of history. Great pride and genuine joy embraced Ruslan Aushev, he is not just a public and political figure, he is a man of honor, valor and a true patriot.
