November 27, 2017 in the House of Friendship of Almaty KGU "Kogamdyk kelіsim" of the apparatus of akim of Almaty city conducted a seminar-training on the theme: "Multimedia technologies in the development of ethnojournalism". Seminar-training was organized for students, students at the faculties of journalism at universities of Almaty.

The seminar was conducted senior lecturer of the faculty of journalism of KazNU named after Al-Farabi, doctoral PhD - Alіmzhan Aykerіm Bolatkyzy, editor in chief of the Kazakh republican newspaper "Kore Ilbo" - Kim Constantine Stanislavovich and editor in chief of the national Republican newspaper «Deutsche Allgemeine Zeitung» - Klimenko Olesya Sergeevna.

The event began with an opening speech by Alimzhan A.B., who greeted the students and noted the importance of the development of ethnojournalism. After all, Kazakhstan ethnojournalism is a unique phenomenon, and to whom as not to Kazakhstan students, to develop it.

Then came Kim K.S. and Klimenko O.S., who shared their own experience and acquainted students with ethnojournalism from the practical side.

All participants agreed with the importance of ethnojournalism in strengthening public harmony and the need for its further development.
