Christmas was celebrated in the House of Friendship of Ust-Kamenogorsk, in the framework of which a festive concert was held.

Christmas is a great Orthodox church holiday - a solemn day for all Christians. The main symbol of Christmas is the Christmas Tree, it occupies a special place in the Orthodox tradition.

Head of Secretariat of the Assembly of people of Kazakhstan of East Kazakhstan region Askar Nurgaziev and Orthodox priest Vyacheslav Gutov made a congratulatory speech.

The ensemble "Russkaya pesnya", "Bastenki", "Ak niet", dance ensemble "Arabesk" and guests from the regions of East Kazakhstan performed at the concert.

In addition, during the concert in the lobby of the House of Friendship, the handmade fair "Belaya sova" was actively functioning.

Also, during the whole concert the guests could make donations within the framework of the charitable action of the Assembly of people of Kazakhstan "Sarkyt", which started all over the country, aimed at supporting socially vulnerable groups of the population.
