Inter-religious and inter-ethnic harmony in the Republic of Kazakhstan is one of the necessary conditions of integrity of the state and its progress on the path of democratic reforms.

At the round table, students of pedagogical college construction and economic and representatives of ethno-cultural centers of the Regional Assembly of People of Kazakhstan on the example of Ukrainian and Armenian Diasporas speak about inter-ethnic harmony in the country.

Plotko Alexander, chairman of the center "Svitanok" Ukrainian Culture:

- Friendship of peoples is a fundamental and integral part of all human existence, living on the territory of Kazakhstan. We want to understand the problem that exists; there may be ways to address them at the level of the younger generation, which is building the future of Kazakhstan.

Christina Stier - a student of Peter and Paul Construction and Economic College. According to the German nationality, but is fluent in Russian and Kazakh languages. Today, she tells about multinational Kazakhstan, friendship and tolerance. Its report is based on personal experience:

- It is important to develop inter-ethnic communication, because everyone should be friendly, even more so - of the nation. No one should despise the nation, because they are equal to each other. I have friends, Kazakhs, Tatars. We all communicate in different languages, even in Kazakh.

In Petropavlovsk on the latest census information lives about 5 thousand Ukrainians, which is a little more than two per cent of the residents of the city. Great success they have achieved in various fields, including in the cultural life.

There are artists, writers, actors. Art is clear to everybody, because nationality is not important. And this is what brings people together. By the way, Ukrainian creative collectives today are not only in Petropavlovsk, but also in almost every area. They take an active part in all the celebrations and festivals in the region.
