At the 20-th of April, 2017, in the framework of a single thematic day of the Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan to discuss the article of the Head of State "A look into the future: Modernization of public consent", a joint meeting of the Public Consent Council and the Scientific Expert Group of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan in Astana was held in the capital mayor.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss and explain the main directions and tasks identified by the Leader of the nation in the article and the development of proposals for the project "100 new persons of Kazakhstan".

The event was attended by members of the capital's ANC, representatives of ethno cultural associations of the city, the media.

Speakers focused on the main priorities and aspects indicated and noted in the article, at the same time, the special importance of the development of national identity, consent, as well as the role of the Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan in the formation of interethnic dialogue.

"We are witnessing the globalization not only of our state, but of the whole world. And at the time of this globalization, our Head outlined specific priorities and set a course for the modernization of our state. Here it is worth noting the transition to the Latin alphabet, and the preservation of the culture of our traditions and custom, "said Alpeisov A.K.

Professor Aliev O.Zh., Professor of the Department of Economics and Innovative Business of the University of Turan-Astana, spoke about preserving the national identity and the way to evolutionary development of Kazakhstan, emphasizing the need to understand the essence and awareness of the identity of every Kazakhstani as one of the main instruments of the country's unity.
