On the eve of the 25^th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, within the framework of the project "Days of ethnic culture" a celebration of Ukrainian culture with the support of the Regional Assembly of People of Kazakhstan and Taraz State Pedagogical Institute is held. On this day the participants have talked about the achievements of the country during the years of Independence, the main task of all citizens - the preservation of peace, unity and accord in our multinational country.

The Deputy Chairman, the Head of the Secretariat of the Regional Assembly of People of Kazakhstan Marzhan Kuzhayeva has congratulated all on the landmark date of the 25^th anniversary of Independence. "The Assembly is a big family, and cradle of the country's unity and harmony. And we have entrusted the most important task - to be the guardian of the friendship of peoples, the country's harmony and peace. "Dnepro" Ukrainian Cultural Center actively participates in all activities aimed at strengthening inter-ethnic relations and the development of friendship among peoples. And today I would like to express my gratitude and wish good health and success to all members of the Center” - said M. Kuzhayeva.

This year, "Dnepro" Ukrainian Cultural Center NGO celebrates its 20^th anniversary. The head and the Undisputed Leader of the Center since its foundation is Klimenko Fedor Leontiyevich. During this time, Dnepro" Ukrainian Cultural Center NGO has done a lot of work. There have been conducted meetings with labor collectives, participation in meetings of the Regional Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, participation in meetings of the Council of Elders, and the Council of Mothers. “Dnepro” has taken active part in the organization of all regional and city events dedicated to a particular holiday. Also the Center holds charity events in conjunction with the regional Assembly of People of Kazakhstan and organizes round tables.

"Marichka" Folklore Ensemble delights the eyes of fans with its masreship for several years. And today on the stage of the assembly hall of Taraz State Pedagogical Institute, the audience has applauded at performances of creative groups of the Pedagogical Institute, the kindergarten No 9 of the city of Taraz, "Asyl Azheler" Ensemble and "Dnepro" Ukrainian Cultural Center.

The active and social position, responsibility, patriotism of all the members of "Dnepro" Ukrainian Cultural Center NGO inspires a deep respect and appreciation from the general public.
