The final day of the expedition in Pavlodar region

September 17, 2015 the expedition "ULY DALA ELI" visited Ekibastuz region known not only in the country but also far beyond. Expedition stopped in Akkol-Zhaiylma district, directly related to the origins of Kazakh statehood.

There was found a large mausoleum of Golden Horde period. Mausoleum, dating from XIV century is one of the largest archaeological structures in Sary-Arka. The building had a powerful more than 1 meter thick walls that rose to a height of at least 5 m, and the whole structure is crowned with an octagonal dome. The walls of the mausoleum was richly decorated with tiles, glazed tiles and carved bricks.

Burials were committed by Muslim tradition with elements of pre-Islamic funeral rites, which is quite typical for burials of XIV-XVI centuries.

Burials of nomadic nobility, indicate habitation of aristocracy in the territory of the steppe, accepted Islam. Islam gained the status of state religion in the XIV century in Dzhuchi Ulus.

Horde Bazaar of medieval ruler includes all necessary infrastructures: from clergy, doctors, craftsmen, servants, guards, to merchants engaged in trade exchange transactions. During archaeological excavations there were found Golden coins. Thus, the object under study can be viewed as a pre-summer-stay place of horde.

Also, the region is rich on holy places. The expedition visited the grave of Kolebe Batyr, monument to Tuyte Aulie, grave of Isabek ishan, Aulietal, grave of Zhemis-ata.
