Assembly of people of Kazakhstan launched annual creative competition in the field of journalism "Shanyrak". Materials for participation in the contest will be accepted until September 20.

Journalists of Kazakhstani mass media, representatives of ethno-cultural associations, non-governmental organizations, figures of science and culture, experts and individual authors are invited to participate.

This year's competition works will be evaluated in 10 categories, 3 of which remained the same: the best analytical material dedicated to the Kazakhstani model of public consent and national unity, the best material that reveals the activities of the Assembly and its structures (Council of Mothers, Council of Public Consent, "Zhangyru Zholy"), as well as the best material dedicated to the promotion and expansion of the state language.

According to the results of the contest, best material devoted to the key directions of the program article "Uly dalanyn zheti kyry" in the context of the formation of historical consciousness; best material devoted to the key directions of the program article "Bolashakka Bagdar: ruhani zhangyru"; best material "About the development of mediation"; best material "About development of charity"; best material on the promotion of the winners of the project "100 new faces of Kazakhstan"; best material revealing key directions of cultural and educational project “Qazaqtanu”.

In addition, the author of the best publication in social networks with hashtagms #jangyrujoly and #dangylzhol will receive a special prize "Zhastar zhyly – dangyl zhol" dedicated to the Year of Youth.

The award ceremony for the best works will be held in Astana in October 2019.
