"Year of volunteer should be a breakthrough, we must do a great job. I have been cooperating with the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan for a long time, in particular, we attract young people. Last year, I attended 57 schools, visited 10 orphanages and 12 countries where I promoted the power culture of Kazakhstan - this is all my personal initiative," Sergey Tsyrulnikov said.
According to him, increasing the scholarship for student volunteers is a good support, but it is necessary to encourage and motivate youth more.
"I noticed that many volunteer students come from Canada, Belgium and Poland. There is a lot of support for the volunteer movement in these countries, so students have the opportunity to travel to other countries. We have tasks and problems to focus on, but I think this year will put everything in place and we will be able to develop the volunteer movement in Kazakhstan," concluded the athlete.
