NUR-SULTAN - The meeting of Zhanseit Tuimebayev, Deputy Chairman of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan - Head of Secretariat of APK of Executive Office of the President, with heads of ethno-cultural associations, members of structures and Secretariat of Assembly of People of Kazakhstan of Nur-Sultan city was held in the Friendship House.

During the meeting, Deputy Chairman of the Assembly noted that the Constitution guarantees protection of the interests of all citizens regardless of ethnic, racial, religious or other affiliation. The Assembly plays an important role in strengthening stability, being a reliable pillar of the state policy of national unity.

The Assembly did not stand aside from the events in Korday district of Zhambyl region and from the very first minutes promptly resolved the issues for the rapid resolution of the conflict. Tuimebayev emphasized that the crime has no nationality. All guilty will incur punishment according to the Law. It is inevitable. On the other hand, he told about the causes of the conflict and noted that the state has a full understanding of the problem and the algorithm for its solution.

The meeting also set a number of tasks to strengthen public harmony and national unity on the basis of the principle "Unity in Diversity", to study the state language as a basis for inter-ethnic communication, to develop the national historical consciousness, and more.

In turn, the leaders of ethno-cultural associations emphasized the consolidating role of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan. The Assembly allowed to fulfill the main task - to integrate the ethnic minorities. During the years of Independence, no ethnos has chosen the strategy of isolation, all of them are ready to further strengthen the unity and harmony based on the consolidating role of the Kazakh people, uniting the role of the state language.

In conclusion, the Deputy Chairman of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan addressed the leaders of ethno-cultural associations and called not to give in to provocations. The course of the state in the sphere of interethnic relations remains unchanged.
