Meeting of APK’s Council of Mothers held in Taraz

The extended session of the Council of Mothers of the Regional Assembly of People of Kazakhstan took place in Taraz, where the results of work for the last year were summed up.


According to the organizers, the purpose of the event was to explain the new measures of the state to support large families and young people, use opportunities provided by the state for family business, measures to support large families and young families, familiarization with the experience of the councils of mothers in the districts.

The expanded meeting of the Council began with an exhibition of handicrafts and dishes of different nationalities.


After the exhibition, the plenary session of the Council of Mothers on the theme "The Role of the Council of Mothers of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan in the formation of a new generation of Kazakhstanis" was held.

The Council of Mothers with the Department of Police on prevention of delinquency among minors within the framework of mediation on prevention of divorce of young families and pilot project "Bastau" on a systematic basis conducted joint work. In addition, heads and active members of women's groups of higher and special educational institutions of the city exchanged views and problems of young people.


As a result of the meeting, the active participants of the society were presented with letters of thanks and valuable gifts.

After the awarding ceremony within the framework of the project "Culture and traditions of ethnic groups of Zhambyl region" there was held an ethno-festival "Bizdin kushimiz-birlikte!", where representatives of regional ethno-cultural associations demonstrated their customs and traditions and introduced the culture of ethnic minors.
