The tourism department of Mangistau region together with the company "Ethnotour" and OO "People's consent" in the picturesque canyon of the Karagiyi valley conducted a regional tourist meeting.

The regional tourist meeting was dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the 1st tourist gathering in Mangistau, the announcement of the United Nations in 2017 - the International Year of Sustainable Tourism for Development.

The event was held with the purpose of attracting the attention of the general public, representatives of various ethnic groups to domestic tourism as a basis for a healthy lifestyle; to the natural monuments of the Mangistau region, to tourist sites, in particular to the lowest point of Kazakhstan, as well as the EAES countries, the Karagiyi depression; Development of ecological culture of the population of Mangistau region.

The winners of the tourist rally are awarded with valuable prizes and gifts, as well as unforgettable impressions of the organized time in nature.
